All will be yours!

Therefore, if You will worship me, all will be Yours. Luke 4:7 NKJV

Hallelujah? Many of us desperately seek material possessions, we eagerly look for all we can get in life. Our God is a God who provides and the above verse seems like a great quote, untill you realise who said it! For this is a quote from Satan, not from God! God’s primary focus is your salvation through a relationship with Jesus and that this becomes evident through your character. Other blessings like materials, finances, or success are secondary to this. God will of course bless you in many ways but ‘seek first His kingdom and His righteousness’ (Matt. 6:33). Be very wary of any ‘blessing’ that comes at a cost to your intimacy with, and obedience to, Jesus. While God certainly does bless our lives on Earth, they are not merely to be lived for selfish gain. For what does it profit any man to gain the whole world but forfeit his soul. Let us ensure our focus is on following Christ above all!
