IT IS WRITTEN
“IT IS WRITTEN” — The tempter came to a hungry Jesus and said “If you are the Son of God command that these stones be turned into bread. Jesus answered him - IT IS WRITTEN, man shall not live on bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” Matt. 4:3-4
In this world we are all subject to enemy attacks. That is nothing new. Even Jesus went into the wilderness to fast and pray, but the devil came with 3 attacks to tempt Him to be diverted from following the will of His Father. Jesus had 2 forms of defence — He relied on the strength and power of the Holy Spirit, “Jesus full of the Spirit was led into the wilderness.” Also, He knew God’s Word and used it 3 times to overcome Satan, quoting “IT IS WRITTEN” from Deuteronomy. Satan was defeated.
Make sure you read and know God’s Word. You will need it when you are attacked, it increases faith. God’s Word will help you combat the enemy when he comes to speak words of doubt, discouragement and defeat.
Also, when God gives you a Word of promise to answer your need, declare IT IS WRITTEN - then speak out your word of healing, your word of victory, your word of provision! Remember - the Word of God in your mouth is just as powerful as the Word of God in God’s mouth! Declaring the Word of God results in your miracle!
