Transformation!
“For I am NOT ASHAMED of the gospel, because it is the POWER of God unto salvation to everyone who believes” Romans 1v16. This famous verse is the Central Theme to the entire book of Romans. Paul boldly proclaims the gospel because it contains the incredible POWER of God to bring salvation to ALL. What an amazing GOSPEL! It is TRANSFORMATIVE — both NOW and for Eternity!
Firstly, it has the power to TRANSFORM our present life-style, how we live our lives. The way you live reflects what you believe! John 13v35 Jesus said, “By our love, people will know you are followers of Jesus." One of the best ways to proclaim the gospel, is by loving the people around you. If we neglect to let our love be seen, we are hiding our light under a bushel. The GOSPEL that CHANGED your life, can CHANGE theirs!
Secondly, the gospel has the power to TRANSFORM our eternal destiny. The words you speak are a message of HOPE to those perishing with NO HOPE. When you proclaim the gospel message, your words can make the difference to your listener ending up in heaven or hell! The Holy Spirit can use your words to bring conviction to the sinner, and a miracle of conversion when they believe your message! You can make the vital difference to the eternal destiny of every person you speak to. You can TRANSFORM their eternal destiny and bring them the Hope of Eternal Life in Heaven!
